Rescue of God

Following the devastation left by Hurricane Noel in 2007, Joel Eugene took in several neighborhood children in need and began Rescue of God Children’s Home. The home began receiving assistance from community members, helping to meet the needs of each child. In the aftermath of the earthquake in 2010, many additional orphaned children were received by Joel and Rescue of God. 


In 2017, Back2Back began to partner with Rescue of God, helping to provide much needed support and improvements to the home continue to be made. Sponsorship funds help provide well-balanced meals, medical care, educational support, a social worker and psychologist, various housing expenses, and weekly group activities.
