On May 17th, 2015 the Hope Program was officially launched in Mazatlan, Mexico with the dedication of the Abigail House. The Abigail House was the first Hope home in Back2Back Mazatlán. Girls from Floreser, Salvation Army and Rancho de los Niños children’s homes now call the Abigail House home and enjoy family-style living – residing with two house parents and their biological children. The low adult to child ratio allows each girl to receive individual care and support while pursuing her education.
In 2016 Mazatlan started its first boys Hope Program house. Boys from Salvation Army and Rancho de los Niños are living as a family with a married couple whose children are grown.
Each Hope Program student may have up to 3 sponsors.
